Bomber Bits : The Single Break Bits

Starting with basic of dressage legal bits, our single joint loose ring snaffle is curved and the link offset both of which reduce the pinch and pressure points which conventional snaffles create.

The nutcracker action will causes the horse to lift its head, some horse will accept this, however for those horses that’s shake their heads or resist in any way, we then developed the lock-up which removes the nutcracker and pinch – making this much more acceptable.

However, we saw the need to go one step further for those horses that may still poke their noses up or show slight resistance. We curved the mouth pieces even more, again reducing discomfort while keeping within the dressage rules.

Our most recent improvement has been the Ultra Comfy Lock-up; by double locking the link and curving the mouth piece to follow the contour of the horse’s tongue even more relief is given to the sensitive horse – once again remaining within the dressage rules.
